School Uniform
The school uniform is extremely important at Ballincollig Community School and all students are expected to wear full correct school uniform at all times, except, when otherwise directed by the school. Students wearing the Ballincollig Community School uniform represent the school to the wider community and are expected to behave in a manner which will not bring the school into disrepute. Students are advised to write their name or initials on their clothing tags. The full school uniform is available from Evan G’s in Ballincollig.
School Uniform details:
V-necked grey school jumper with BCS school crest (available in Evan G’s in Ballincollig)
Pale blue school shirt.
Navy and blue school tie.
Navy school skirt/school trousers. Navy leggings are not accepted as an alternative to navy trousers.
Navy tights/socks (if wearing skirt)
Shoes must be plain black, navy or brown.
PE Uniform:
PE Uniform
The PE uniform consists of the official O’Neills school tracksuit, designed in consultation with students.
The O’Neills order link opens in May and September and allows parents to purchase directly from the school range.
The PE tracksuit may also be worn when students are representing the school at sporting events and on their timetabled PE days, supporting increased contact time with PE staff.

For Health and Safety reasons there are strict criteria relating to the wearing of Jewellery on school grounds. Please refer to the General School Rules section of the student Journal for further details.
