As per direction from the Department of Education and Skills, Ballincollig Community School is closed as and from 6pm on Thursday, 12th March until the 29th March 2020.
This means that there will be no access to the school building from the time of the shutdown.
The Microsoft 365 platform will be used by teachers to liaise with pupils. If any students have any difficulty with their Microsoft 365 accounts, including email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, using a different account, and we will respond.
All students and those doing state examinations in 2020 will have the full support of the school during this time. Students should work through the normal school day and use this valuable time as they would in the classroom. Teachers will continue to work with 3rd, 5th and 6th year students throughout the two weeks.
We wish all our families well – stay safe and stay well.
The Parent’s Association play an important role in the life of the school. They provide help on Open Night and other school events during the year. They organise a clothes collection every year to raise money for their activities. A very well attended talk and demonstration was held recently when Vera Keohane gave a talk to parents on Marie Kondo, and how to declutter and organise your home.
